Operations Manager

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Effective communication (verbal and written)
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment

  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft, specifically Excel worksheets

Baristas

Basic Qualifications

  1. Education and Experience:
  • College Level or equivalent trainings
  • Previous experience as a barista in an established café / coffeeshop
  1. Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of different types of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, specialty coffee drinks, third wave coffee and the ability to prepare them with precision and consistency.
  • Familiarity with various coffee brewing methods and equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, pour overs and coffee makers.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly and prompt service to customers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and accurately processing payments.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
  1. Physical Requirements:
  • Stamina and physical endurance to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects, such as bags of coffee beans or milk crates.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to handle small and delicate objects, such as coffee cups and saucers.
  1. Availability:
  • Flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule as determined by the needs of the business.
  1. Food Safety and Hygiene:
  • Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Willingness to follow proper sanitation procedures, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and keeping work areas clean and organized.

Cook

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary terminology, and kitchen equipment
  • Proficient in recipe creation, menu planning, and portion control
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of kitchen staff effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail in food presentation and plating

  • Strong Understanding of Marketing principles, Digital marketing, Social media Marketing and Public Relations.
